B.Tech. Computer Science & Engineering program by IBM is a ‘unique global’ initiative by the multinational IT Giant, to offer much needed applied information technology knowledge to graduating students, in various domain and futuristic

IBM–ICE is IBM’s Innovation Center for Education. With an aim to enhance the skills and train the students ensuring they are industry-ready, the IBM Innovation Center for Education has designed tailored curriculum to improve their employability quotient. IBM–ICE program is industry-relevant course by industry-relevant trainer to industry-ready the students. 1 Year: On the job Deployment (OJD) in industry.

Yes, it is approved and globally recognized. Lamrin Tech Skills University Punjab (LTSU) is established by the Govt. of Punjab under Punjab state Act No.22 of 2021 and is recognised by UGC New Delhi under UGC act 1956.

- The applied courseware is created exclusively for IBM ICE Students by industry experts and
with inputs from IBMers from all over the world. - Vibrant Concurrency of Courseware.
- The courses will be reviewed and adjusted at the periodic intervals for their concurrency.
Students shall be skilled over eight semesters in on cutting edge technologies by IBM and industry experts through Project Based Learning (PBL) techniques. This in-depth skilling ensures that graduating students can be readily deployed on live project by the hiring companies.
- Next Generation ecosystem learning platform for the Institution which will benefit faculties & Students enrolled for the IBM ICE Program (comprising of Projects and connect with Industry for Internships) shall also be made available to the faculty and students of IBM ICE Academic Partner.

- There will be adequate interaction planned during these visits so that it becomes an interactive learning experience for the students.

- IBM shall organize IBM ICE Days where students learn to collaborate and compete through Technical Poster Competitions, Hackathons, Technical Paper Presentations and Project Presentations.

- Residential Program
The program is kept residential with an objective to help students save travelling timing, learn in a Conducive environment and access to 24*7 IBM computer labs, library, faculty even after classes, participation in various activities and events organized. As students will be available in the campus 24×7, so various activities, events, training & workshops can be arranged to help them improve their overall personality. Students work freely on their projects without any stress to leave the campus and travel back home. Students can use various facilities available such as power backup, Gym, medical assistance, and sports.
- Curriculum
Curriculum is framed keeping UGC framework guidelines in consideration by the IBM – an anchor partner, for the LTSU students. The applied courseware is designed exclusively by the industry experts and inputs from IBMers from all over the world, keeping the core engineering subject in consideration in which about 40% of content focusing on fundamental and 60% on applied knowledge, in addition eight subjects per specialization and industrial electives will be taught in the first six semesters.
The Core Engineering subjects including emerging technology subjects will be taught in first five semesters along with extensive lab sessions and live projects from first year onwards, in the sixth semester students will work on live project to have real application development experience, so that before the final year students undergo extensive experience in real world application development so that in the final year students can directly be deployed in industry.
The course is designed with a strong focus on a state-of-the-art delivery mechanism to allow students to learn industry-relevant applied skills through: – unique world-class in-depth training on in-demand cutting-edge emerging technologies, strong emphasis on live project based learning, labs and case study based learning, stress on industry oriented curriculum & continuous industry participation, and many more activities related to training and industry-academia collaborations.
- Project Based Learning (PBL)
The program is designed keeping hands-on practice, technical and domain skills required in the industry. Every student has to prepare a domain based project in each semester using the technology studied. Real world problems will be given to the students by the industry partners through IBM. These projects will be evaluated by IBMers and their industry partners. The objective is to make students have in-depth learning on emerging technologies with special focus on skilling the students in design thinking and using agile methodologies. As our focus is on making students work on live projects on core technologies of their specialization, from first year onwards and giving them exposure about the real world problem solving and making them industry ready, for On Job Deployment (OJD).
- NSDC
National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) is an execution area of the Ministry of Skill development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE), Govt. of India, for all National and International skill development programs. The B.Tech. CSE program is fully funded by NSDC. LTSU in collaboration with NSDC is offering Collateral Free Skill loans for the needy meritorious students with humble background.
- Internship & Placement
Every student besides being skilled in computer science shall also be provided intensive skilling in one of the emerging technologies. As the curriculum is designed keeping the industry requirements in mind and students will be undergoing Project Based Learning (PBL), so in the third year a Stipend will be offered as per the performance of the student. Job assurance is given to students in best-in-class companies, as per their performance with a salary package of Rs 5 lac to 15 lac per annum.
