Yes, it is approved and globally recognized. Lamrin Tech Skills University Punjab (LTSU) is established by the Govt. of Punjab under Punjab state Act No.22 of 2021 and its name is included in List of University under section 2(f) of the UGC act 1956.

LTSU CAMPUS is situated in the foot hills of Shivalik hills and adjoining river Sutlej. It is just at a distance of 5kms from Ropar on Chandigarh – Jalandhar Highway (NH 344A) in district S.B.S. Nagar, Punjab, India Pin: 144533.

The University is governed by the eminent professional from academia and corporate world. The Governing Body is headed by the Chancellor who is a dynamic leader, great visionary and an Eminent Professional. At present he is an Adviser to the Govt. of India & also to Govt. of Punjab, Skill Development & Technical Education.

Course

Lamrin Tech Skills University Punjab (LTSU).

Students having minimum 60% marks throughout in XII (any stream) are eligible.

The objective is to make students industry ready for On Job Deployment (OJD), so commerce and management subjects includes 2 years, in the next 1 year students will work on the job training.

The program is kept residential with an objective to help students save travelling timing, learn in a Conducive environment and access to computer labs, library, faculty even after classes, participation in various activities and events organized. As students will be available in the campus 24×7, so various activities, events, training & workshops can be arranged to help them improve their overall personality. Students work freely on their projects without and stress to leave the campus and travel back home. Students can use various facilities available such as power backup, Gym, medical assistance, and sports.

Yes, it is and will be continuously upgraded as per the requirements.

Teaching staff is as per UGC norms and are extensively trained and certified by IBM experts.

Trainings will be conducted in Centre of Excellence Laboratories setup by IBM. On Job Deployment (OJD) will be done through IBM and also in other reputed organizations. For international students Job assurance will be as per the law of the country.

Curriculum is framed keeping UGC framework guidelines in consideration by the IBM – an anchor partner for the LTSU students. The applied courseware is designed exclusively by the industry experts and inputs from IBMers from all over the world, keeping the core engineering subject in consideration in which about 40% of content focusing on fundamental and 60% on applied knowledge, in addition eight subjects as per specialization will be taught in first six semesters.

Yes, we organize various activities like Poster presentation, Quizzes, Debates, Short- project, coding competition, industrial & education visits, expert lectures and many more extension activities.

Yes, as per UGC guidelines, subject to availability of vacant seat and student may have to undergo bridge course

Curriculum is prepared by IBM as per industry standards and keeping UGC guidelines. The course will be reviewed and adjusted at periodic intervals.

Efficient Placement cell is available, but we believe that the students, after undergoing rigorous academics process will be hired by reputed organizations in the pre-final year on performance base. Recruiters will be invited to visit from first year onwards during various competitions, expert lectures, and panel discussions. Students will be competing in regional, national & international competitions. Digital literacy skills will also be part of the curriculum. Students will attain IBMs Digital Badge, which demonstrate the level of proficiency and related technical skills a graduate has achieved, which can attract the attention of potential employers during recruiting process.

Stipend of Rs. 25000 – 30000 p.m. will be offered as per the performance of the student. Job assurance is given to students in best in class companies, as per their performance with a salary package of Rs 5lac to 15lac per annum.

Yes, they can, if they fulfill the eligibility criteria.

A minimum of 40 credits per year, and a minimum total 160 credits as per UGC framework. However, credits offered will be over and above as per UGC guidelines.

Yes, IBM Subjects study materials can be accessed online post enrolment to the course.

Yes, IBM industry experts will visit the university frequently. Meanwhile, IBM will continue to assist faculty members with any guidance. Weekly webinars are organized by IBMers on advance technologies for the students and faculty members.

IBM credentials are valued and recognized by the global IT industry. IBM Digital Badges           Demonstrate the level of proficiency and related technical skills a graduate has achieved. Potential employers can use this as part of their recruiting process.

Eligibility & Admission Process

Unique program for meritorious students having minimum 70% marks in X and XII (Non-Medical) are eligible.

However, if a student is having minimum 60% marks in X and/or XII (Non-Medical) AND above 70 percentile in JEE / CUET then he/she will also be eligible.

 

  • 6th March, 2023:Registration commences
  • 25th March, 2023:Pre-admission counselling sessions by IBM for Parents & Students starts (Online/Offline).
    (schedule shall be shared with registered Students)
  • 31st May, 2023: Last Date of Application Submission
  • June, 2023:Seat allocation with specialization & document verification by IBM starts.
    (schedule shall be shared with eligible Students)
  • Academic Session 2023-2024starts: July 2023

Fee & Loan Facility

Fee is very competitive as per the course structure and facilities offered. If student want to avail Air conditioned, attached washroom facility with modern infrastructure then student will have to pay extra charges. For details please contact us.

No, if required, Collateral Free Skill loan is available for the needy students from our funding partner National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC).

National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) is an execution area of Ministry of Skill development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE), Govt. of India, for all National and International skill development programs.

Students have to bear such expenses apart from academic fee such of registration charges & examination fee per semester, etc..

May start after 3yrs. Total repayment time is 7yrs i.e. 3yrs after completion of 4year degree.

Yes, students can avail them as per the eligibility norms. LTSU will help the students for the same and on receipt of scholarship amount student have to pay back to NSDC against skill loan, if taken.

Yes, Collateral Free Skill loan is available by National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC).

No Collateral is required for skill loan offered by NSDC.

NSDC skill loans do not require any collateral.

Facilities

Separate hostels are available for boys & girls, with guarded entrance and well trained wardens are deputed. Hostel entrance is under CCTV surveillance 24×7.

All facilities are available such as ambulance and medical facility (24*7), transport, ATM, Wellness Centers, Wi-Fi campus, Tuck shops, Sports, Food courts, power back up, Gym, indoor games etc. are available.

National Skill DevelopmentaUniversity has separate department which take care of housekeeping and maintenance and periodic checking and auditing of it is done.   Corporation (NSDC) is an execution area of Ministry of Skill development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE), Govt. of India, for all National and International skill development programs.

ERP system is in place, which record all credential of students such as attendance, assessment etc. Monthly feedback will be shared with parents. Parent Teacher association is formed and Parent-Teachers meet is organized once a semester. Parents are invited during various events organized in the campus.

Yes, we have fully functional counseling and grievance cell.

LTSU is Ragging free campus, still anti-ragging committee & squad is constituted with well defined guidelines to check any menace.

Double/Triple occupancy. Double occupancy with attached washrooms offered on-demand (with additional charges).

Only during National holidays and during short semester break.

All Activities related to Curricular, Co-curricular activities as per the academic calendar of the university like athletic, cultural, talent hunt, extempore, poster presentation, quizzes, debates, short- project, coding competition, industrial & education visits, expert lectures and many more extension activities.
